  • Optical analysis method
    Oct 21, 2018

Optical analysis methods are a class of analytical methods based on the interaction of light radiant energy with matter (luminescence, absorption, scattering, photoelectron emission, etc.). It belongs to a class of important methods in instrumental analysis methods. It can be divided into two major spectral analysis methods, spectroscopy and non-spectral method, which are the intrinsic relationship between optical radiant energy and material composition and structure. - The measurement of the spectrum (or spectrum) is based on non-spectral analysis, which does not include changes in the internal energy of the substance, but rather changes in the direction and physical properties of the material.

Spectroscopy can be divided into three basic types:

    Luminescence spectroscopy

Including atomic emission spectrometry, atomic fluorescence spectrometry, molecular fluorescence analysis, X-ray fluorescence analysis, electron spectroscopy and so on.

    2. Absorption spectroscopy

Including UV-visible spectrophotometry, infrared spectrophotometry, electron spin resonance and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, Moss Paul spectrum, atomic absorption spectroscopy and so on.

    3. Scattering spectroscopy

There are mainly Raman scattering spectroscopy. Non-spectral methods include refraction, polarization, optical dispersion, circular dichroism, X-ray diffraction, and turbidity analysis.
